WINGS OF SOUL is a UK based charity, dedicated to helping all victims of domestic violence and abuse including women, men, children and the LGBT community.
Our organisation was founded to provide a range of support services to vulnerable people who are struggling against xenophobia, sexism and violence.
We’ve been supporting victims for more than 20 years and throughout this time we’ve been at the forefront of shaping and coordinating responses to domestic violence and abuse.
We empower survivors by keeping their voices at the heart of our work by actively listening to them and pro-actively responding to their needs.
Legal assistance in relation to family and domestic law.
Practical help with immigration, visas and personal documentation.
Guidance on systems, procedures, policies, rules and regulations.
Helping with the basic necessities of life such as accommodation, food, clothing etc.
Psychological support plus complimentary therapies.
Financial support and guidance on financial management.
Intermediation with local authorities regarding healthcare, educational and employment needs.
Facilitating inclusion in social programmes.
Over the past 20 years, we’ve delivered these services on a non-funded basis. Purely from the kindness within their hearts, our team have given their time, energy and in some cases, their hard earned money, to support our cause.
We have big plans for the future and we’re committed to helping many more victims, but we realise we can’t do this all on our own. We need the support of Government, agencies and corporations to help us continue our work and make an even bigger difference in the lives of victims and in society in general.
